Master Scheduler
This role provides an opportunity to support advanced projects by creating and managing multi-year plans that align with program objectives and deliverables. The Master Scheduler will work closely with team members to ensure accurate scheduling, resource planning, and reporting. This position requires on-site work in Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze contracts, statements of work, and deliverable requirements to develop comprehensive project plans.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify resource needs and integrate them into project schedules.
- Develop and maintain program baselines in alignment with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards.
- Update project schedules regularly and incorporate approved changes using established processes.
- Perform analyses such as critical path reviews, baseline variances, and forecasting to monitor project health.
- Generate and present reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Identify and address scheduling trends to improve processes and reduce risks.
- Ensure project schedules are maintained in compliance with audit and reporting requirements.
- Work with leadership to prioritize tasks and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams.
- Handle additional responsibilities as needed.
Work Environment
- On-Site: Requires regular in-person presence at the primary location at least three days per week.
- May involve travel and commutes between locations as required.
Working Conditions
Work may be performed in office settings, labs, cleanrooms, or production areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degrees may substitute for some experience; relevant technical expertise may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project 2019 or later.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) programs.
- Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
